Peera Wongupparaj is a Professor of Psychology at Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Burapha University, Thailand.
He has been working with several leading authorities in the fields, that is, Prof. Roi Cohen Kadosh in Oxford on brain stimulation (tDCS, tRNS, tACS), Prof. Anja Ischebeck in Graz on screening tests for identifying children at risk of dyscalculia, Prof. Ki Woong Kim in Seoul on electrophysiological markers and photobiomodulation for older adults with MCI and Alzheimer’s disease, and Prof. Remo Job in Trento on psycholinguistics and speech-based analysis for classifying older adult with MCI. He has published 55 peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals and 3 book chapters.
Peera graduated in 2004 with a bachelor of arts in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) First class honour and gold medal for academic distinction at Naresuan University, Thailand. He continued his study at King's College Lond, UK where he was awarded a PhD in Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience) in 2016.
He is interested and expertise in brainwave analysis (Event-related potentials: ERPs & Electroencephalogram: EEG), neuropsychological testing, human intelligence, learning disabilities, human memory, mild cognitive impairment, systematic review and meta-analysis, executive function cognitive aging, advanced statistics, and machine learning.
